Interior lighting
Problem
The interior
lighting doesn't
come on.
The interior
lighting illuminates
even when the
appliance door is
closed.

Possible cause
To avoid overheating, the
lighting switches itself off
automatically after approx.
15 minutes if the door is left
open.
If this is not the case, then
there is a fault.
The display lighting is
switched on.
Remedy
^ Call Miele.
The light covers must not
be removed. Should the
covers be damaged or
removed due to
damage, exercise
caution. Never look at
the lighting with optical
instruments (magnifying
glass or similar).
^ Switch off the display
lighting (see "Display
lighting").
