2. Install:
• Master cylinder 1
NOTE:
Install the master cylinder with the "UP"
mark up.
Tighten the upper screw first.
3. Install:
• Copper washers
• Brake hose
• Screw

Install the brake hose as indicated in the
figure.

• Route the hose properly in order to ensure
the safe riding.

• Always use new copper washers.
4. Fill:
• Brake fluid
5. Air bleeding:
• Brake system
See Section "AIR BLEEDING," CHAPTER 3.
6. Check:
• Brake fluid level.
7. Install:
• Diaphragm 1
• Master cylinder cover 2
• Screws 3

Screw (master cylinder support):
7 N.m (0.7 kgf.m; 5.1 ft.lb)

30 N.m (3.0 kgf.m; 16.6 ft.lb)
WARNING
Screw (master cylinder cover):
1.5 N.m (0.15 kgf.m; 1.1 ft.lb)
