FRONT FORK

MOUNTING

Reverse the "DISMOUNTING" procedures.
NOTE:
• When mounting the front fork, the following
new parts should be used:
* Guide bushing
* Retainer
* Dust protector
• Clean all components before mounting.
1. Install:
• Oil retainer 1 (on the damper stem 2)
2. Install:
• Damper stem 1
CAUTION:
Let the damper stem slide slowly to the end
of the internal tube 2 .

3. Lubricate:
Internal tube (external surface) 3
4. Install:
• Internal tube
(in the external tube 4)
5. Tighten:

• Screw (damper stem)
Hold the damper stem, using the "T"
wrench 1 and the fastener 2.

Suspension oil 10W or
equivalent.
"T" wrench:
90890-01326
Fastener:
90890-01294
Screw (damper stem):
20 N.m (2.0 kgf.m; 14 ft.lb)
Use LOCTITE
®
