FRONT WHEEL

WARNING
Ride with care after installing a tire allowing
it to lay properly on the rim. Otherwise, an
accident may occur resulting in damage to
the motorcycle and injuries to the driver.
After repairing or replacing a tire, make sure
to apply the proper torque to the valve stem
lock-nu 1 1 1 1 1 .
Valve stem lock-nut:
2.0 N.m (0.2 kgf.m; 1.4 ft.lb)
7. Check:
• Wheel roller bearing
Abnormal noise / clearance / irregular
rotation => Replace.
• Retainer
Damage/wear => Replace.

Replacement steps:
Wheel retainer and roller bearing.
• Clean the external surface of the wheel hub.
• Remove the retainer 1
screwdriver 2.
NOTE:
Place a cloth on the hub surface in order to
prevent damage.
• · Remove the roller bearings 3, using the
roller bearing puller.
· Install the new roller bearing and the new
retainer, reversing the steps above.
NOTE:
Use a socket wrench 4 that fits the outside
diameter of the race and the retainer.
