Door Components

Door Handle Removal
The door handle is secured with setscrews (C) to the
handle mounting shoulder screws (B) that are fastened
into the front of the door assembly.
To remove the handle, use a 3/32" allen wrench and
extract the setscrew located in each handle standoff.
Pull handle assembly from the door assembly.
(See Figure 6-10)
Use a 5/32" allen wrench to extract the screw located
inside the handle standoff, that secures the handle
standoff to the handle.
NOTE: When installing the door handles ensure the
holes for the set screws are facing towards the opposite
door.
Storage Bin Removal
To change the position of an adjustable door bin:
1. Before adjusting a bin, remove all food.
2. Grip the bin firmly with both hands and lift it upward.
(See Figure 6-11)
3. Remove the bin.
4. Place the bin just above desired position.
5. Lower the bin onto supports until locked in place.
Dairy Compartment Removal
The dairy compartment is designed to be warmer than
the open area and includes a lift-up cover that may be
locked and a dairy divider (select models).
(See Figure 6-12)
NOTE: The dairy compartment is located in the left side
fresh food door on non-dispenser models.
Tall Bottle Retainer Removal
The tall bottle retainer keeps tall containers in the bin
from falling forward when opening or closing the
refrigerator door. To remove, pull the ends of the
retainer out the holes. (See Figure 6-13 )
