To Replace the Perfect Temp Drawer
Board:
When handling and or replacing a control board it
is important the a technician have a wrist ground
strap on and connected to the cabinet or another
grounding position to prevent static electricity
from damaging the board.
1. Disconnect power from unit.
2. Disconnect all harness connections from the control
board.
3. Place a small screwdriver under the black retainer in
the center of the control board. (See Figure 6-40)
4. Lift up on the screwdriver sliding the retainer off the
post coming through the control board.
5. Lift the control board out of the housing.
To Replace the Perfect Temp Drawer
1. Disconnect power from unit.
2. Disconnect the harness connection from the damper
motor. (See Figure 6-41)
3. Slide damper straight up out of the control housing.
The fan blade and motor are a single unit in the control
box for all models.
To Service the Perfect Temp Drawer
Assembly:
1. Disconnect power from unit.
2. Remove the back cover for the control.
3. Unplug the fan motor from the control board.
4. Slide the fan assembly straight up out of the control
housing. (See Figure 6-41)
When installing the new fan assembly make sure
the label is facing the vanes in the air discharge of
the control housing. The label is on the discharge
side of the fan assembly. Carefully replace rubber
damping material surrounding fan.

The heater is a 115 VAC 20 Watt heater with 651 Ohms
resistance +/- 10 %
To Replace the Perfect Temp Drawer
1. Disconnect power from unit.
2. With control unit removed, remove the back cover.
3. Disconnect the wires from the control board.
4. Lift the heater straight up and out of the housing.
5. Transfer the safety thermostat from the old heater to
The capacitor will come as part of the heater.
The heater has a lining notch in the front of the
metal bracket it is mounted on. This notch must
line up with the tab in the housing to allow the
heater to fit all the way into the housing. If it is
not lined up correctly the rear panel can not be
installed in the control unit.
