5.5 Administrator Mode Operations

To set the "Stabilizer" function

If the image is incorrect, even after the gradation levels have been adjusted, set the
"Stabilizer" function, available on the Admin. Mode screen.
For details on adjusting the gradation levels, refer to "To set the "Gradation Adjust"
function" (p. 5-56).

Setting the "PRT Area" Functions

This function is used to adjust the image print position from the edge of the paper.
There are three "PRT Area" margin functions:
G
This function adjusts the starting print position at the leading edge of the paper
(with regard to the paper feed direction).
G
This function adjusts the starting print position (with regard to the paper feed
direction) from the left edge of the paper.
G
This function adjusts the starting print position at the left edge of the paper for
the second side of a double-sided copy.

To set the "PRT Area (Top Margin)" function

The top margin of the printing area can be adjusted for each paper type.
Note
The top margin of the print area is preset during manufacturing of the copier.
Normally, the top margin will not need to be preset.

Load A3-size paper of the desired type into the 1st drawer.

Turn the media type selection dial to
the setting for the type of paper
loaded.

Press the [UTILITY] key.

Touch [Admin. Mode].

Using the keypad, enter the
administrator access code.

Touch [Expert Mode].
