Pull out any paper caught in the
fusing unit.
CAUTION
The area around the fusing unit is extremely hot.
➜ Touching anything other than
specifically indicated levers and
dials may result in burns. If you
get burned, immediately cool
the skin under cold water, and
then seek professional medical
attention.
Note
If the paper is caught in any of the ways described below, contact your
authorized service representative.
The paper is wrapped around the fusing unit.
The paper is folded or shredded by the fusing unit.
The paper that was removed tore and remains in the fusing unit.

Grasp the tab on the left end of the
fusing unit cover, and then return
the cover to its original position.

Close the upper right-side door.
