6 6.2 When the Message "Replace the Toner cartridge" Appears

Clean the charger wire after
replacing the toner cartridge.
Slowly pull out the charger-
cleaning tool located below the
new toner cartridge until it stops.
Then, slowly push in the charger-
cleaning tool completely.
Repeat the above operation three
times.

Be sure to push in the charger-
cleaning tool completely.
Then, carefully close the front door.

Use only the lever of the charger-cleaning tool located below the new toner
cartridge when using the charger-cleaning tool to clean the charger wire.
If the door cannot be closed securely, the lever may not be in its correct
position. Make sure that the lever is fully turned.
