Press the
key to set the Printer to
O N L I N E
offline state.
CAUTION
- Reset only the colors displayed on the second line of
the control panel.
Press the
key to enter the INK menu.
Select REMAINING INK with the
keys.
Check the remaining ink amount that can be
used.
Select EXTEND INK AMOUNT with the
keys.
Press the
key twice.
Insert the ink extension chip into the chip
reader.
Press the
key if the chip is not read.

Wait for a while.
Do not remove the chip while PROCESSING...
is displayed. Wait until a sound is emitted and
the display changes indicating that the process
is complete.
