The electronic gear enables the synchronization of drives without mechanical trans-
mission elements such as shafts or clutches. The reference value for the Slave is the
repetition frequency determined by the Master. This value can be multiplied by a gear
factor. The transmission from the Master to the Slave is done via a repetition frequen-
cy signal or via System Bus.
The gear factor can be set permanently or varied during operation via freely configur-
able digital and analog signal sources through the percentage reference channel.
