Configuring NSF with SSO Supervisor Engine Redundancy

Configuring EIGRP NSF

To configure EIGRP NSF, perform this task:

Verifying EIGRP NSF
To verify EIGRP NSF, you must check that the NSF function is configured on the SSO-enabled
networking device. To verify EIGRP NSF, follow these steps:
Step 1 Verify that "nsf" appears in the EIGRP configuration of the SSO-enabled device by entering the
show running-config command:
Switch# show running-config

Step 2 Enter the show ip protocols command to verify that NSF is enabled on the device:
Switch# show ip protocols

Default networks flagged in outgoing updates

Purpose
Enters global configuration mode.
Enables an EIGRP routing process, which places
the switch in router configuration mode.
Enables EIGRP NSF.
Use this command on the "restarting" switch and
all of its peers.
