VRRP parameters for
Router 1
Configure a dynamic routing protocol (RIP-2 or OSPF) for both Router 1
and Router 2. In this case, the sample configuration uses RIP-2. Use the
menu in the Administration Console or use the IP RIP Web

You must explicitly turn routing on to enable your router to learn and
advertise IP packets. Use
use the IP Routing Web Management form to enable the routing state on
both routers.
Configure the virtual router parameters on Router 1 and Router 2 so that
each routing interface has a backup in case of failure. Each VRID number
is associated with both a VLAN index number and the VID's IP interface
established earlier in this procedure. In the case of a backup router, notice
that you associate the IP address of the interface you want to back up.
