Figure 60 shows the first level of decision-making in routing policies.
Routing policies also contain two parameters that help further refine this
system: metrics and administrative weight.
Metric (cost) adjustment — Specifies how many hops to assign to
the route. The range of the metric is 0 through 16 hops. (If you specify
0, the system does not modify the metric; if you specify 16, you are
specifying that the route is unreachable — 16 represents infinity.)
Administrative weight — Controls the relative weight of each policy
with respect to another policy. The range extends from 1 to 16, with
16 taking the greatest precedence.
