586 STARTING AND OPERATING
will turn off and the graphic in the EVIC/DID will
display a new pressure value instead of dashes (- -), as
long as no tire pressure is below the low-pressure
warning limit in any of the four active road tires. The
vehicle may need to be driven for up to 20 minutes
above 15.5 mph (25 km/h) in order for the TPMS to
receive this information.

FUEL REQUIREMENTS

2.4L and 3.2L Engines
These engines are designed to meet all
emissions regulations and provide op-
timum fuel economy and performance
when using high quality unleaded
"Regular" gasoline having a posted
octane number of 87 as specified by
the (R+M)/2 method. The use of
higher octane "Premium" gasoline is not required, as it
will not provide any benefit over "Regular" gasoline in
these engines.
While operating on gasoline with an octane number of
87, hearing a light knocking sound from the engine is not
