1-3. System Description
n
The DCU-8000 has a built-in cooling system consisting of a fan mounted on the both sides of the frame,
and an air filter on the rear of the front panel. Cooling air is drawn in at the front side of the frame,
through the filter, boards, and modules, and then expelled out the both sides of the frame at the fan unit.
If dust is accumulated at the intake of the fan or the cables doesn't keep off over 10 cm from the fans, air
is prevented from flowing smoothly that result in rise of temperature inside the machine. It may result in
adverse effects on performance and life of the machine if used in such an environment.
