6.3.4.3 Adjusting the Angle of the Footrest

Standard footrest
Subsequent adjustments may be made only by qualified personnel.
Elevating footrest (plastic)
1) Turn the release handle for raising/lowering the footrest upwards (see Fig. 56, item 1).
Do not load the footrest whilst doing this, in order to stop the mechanism from tilting or blocking.
2) At the same time adjust the footrest bar to the desired angle (see Fig. 56, item 2).
3) Twist the release lever back down (see Fig. 56, item 3).
→ The footrest will automatically snap into place in the next free position.
Elevating footrest (metal)
1) Press the release lever down (see Fig. 57, item 1).
2) At the same time adjust the footrest bar to the desired angle (see Fig. 57, item 2).
3) Let go of the release lever.
→ The footrest will automatically snap into place in the next free position.

6.3.5 Wheels

CAUTION
Pinching on moving parts
Pinching and crushing of the hands
► Do not reach between the rear wheel and the knee lever wheel lock when driving the wheelchair.
► Do not reach into the rear wheel spokes.

6.3.5.1 Removing/Installing the Rear Wheels

Rear wheels with a quick-release axle can be removed without the use of tools:
1) Reach into the spokes close to the hub with your fingers (see Fig. 3).
2) Use your thumb to press the pushbutton on the quick-release axle.
3) Remove/install the rear wheel (see Fig. 4). The quick-release axle must not be removable after releasing the
pushbutton.
