Usage
→ INFORMATION: Find the most suitable path by practicing with the user. If possible, use a transfer
aid (lifter, transfer board).
→ If the user does not have the necessary physical abilities due to the disability, an attendant should support
the user.
→ After gripping frame components or the armrest, the user may be able to pull him or herself onto the seat
independently or support the transfer (see Fig. 10, item 1–3).
6) Fold the footplate down, position the feet on the footplate and secure them if necessary.
7) Release the knee lever wheel locks.
→ The wheelchair can now be used.

adapted the product.
► Users or attendants are not supposed to remove/install components of the product.

6.3.1 Seat/Seating System

6.3.1.1 Use of various seating systems

The product can be equipped with various seating systems:
Ottobock Shape System: seating shell with seat adapted to the body
Seat plate to hold a seat cushion in combination with an Ottobock back system, e.g. The Back, Backster (see
Fig. 11)
Leckey KIT or Leckey Mygo seating system (see Fig. 12)
Seating system/back system from another manufacturer (Ottobock assumes no liability in this case: see
Page 37).
All seating system settings have already been adapted/adjusted to the needs of the user by the qualified personnel
when the product was delivered.
