3) Pull the footrest up and remove it.
Installing the elevating footrest
Elevating footrest (metal)
1) Insert the footrest straight into the footrest adapter from above (see Fig. 49, item 2).
2) Press the footrest down until it engages.
Elevating footrest (plastic)
1) Hold the footrest outwards at an angle of at least 30° to the side (see Fig. 50, item 2) and insert the pivot bear­
ing into the footrest adapter (see Fig. 51, item 1).
2) Swing the footrest in the direction of travel until the footrest engages (see Fig. 50, item 3).

6.3.4.2 Folding up the Foot Supports/Footplates

To make getting into the wheelchair easier, the foot supports or footplates can be folded up.
Standard/aluminium/multifunction footrest
Grip the footrest and fold it up (see Fig. 52).
Centre footrest
Fold up the footplates inwards (see Fig. 53).
Single-panel footrest
Grip the footrest centrally at the front and fold it up towards the rear (see Fig. 54, see Fig. 55).
