6.3.3.2 Adjusting the Height-Adjustable Push Handle
The height of the height-adjustable push handle can be adjusted in order to make pushing easier for the attendant.
1) Release the clamping lever (see Fig. 43, item 1).
2) Adjust the height of the push handle.
3) Lock the clamping lever securely.
INFORMATION: Both push handles must be adjusted to the same height.

6.3.3.3 Use of Fixed Push Handles
Fixed push handles can be installed on the product. They are available in two different sizes. The selection was
made by qualified personnel during the ordering process.
6.3.4 Footrests
CAUTION
Improper use of the footrests/footplates

► Fold up the footplates before boarding.
► With segmented footplates, ensure the height adjustments are equal.
► The footrests have to engage audibly when they are locked.

► After changing the footrest/footplate settings, verify that the footrests/footplates do not collide with the caster
wheels at any of the seat tilt settings (seat inclination). The minimum distance between the footrest/footplate
and the caster wheel should be 25 mm.
► Note that with certain footplate settings, the footplate can collide with the caster wheels.
The user's feet can be placed on the footrest.
The height of the footrest has been adjusted by qualified personnel to the length of the user's lower leg. Sub
sequent adjustments may be made only by qualified personnel.
The angle of the footplate has been set by the qualified personnel so that it allows the ankles to rest in a comfort
able position.
6.3.4.1 Removing/Installing the Footrests
Removing the standard footrest
1) If necessary: open the calf band and disengage it from the holder (see Fig. 48).
2) Flip the footplate up (see Fig. 52).
3) Release the footrest lock (see Fig. 8).
4) Swing the footrest out by 90° (see Fig. 9).
5) Pull the footrest up and remove it.
