Tie Line (4TLIU) PCB (Figure 2-31)

The 4TLIU Tie Line PCB is an out band dial type analog tie line interface PCB. The PCB supports system
connections to either 2-wire (four lead, tip/ring) or 4-wire (eight lead, tip/ring/tip 1/ring 1) E&M signalling tie
lines (determined in system programming). System programming is also used to select the connection types
with Type 1 or Type V. Each PCB requires one universal slot and provides:
4 analog 4-circuit tie line interfaces
2 PCB status LEDs

2.7.4.1 LED Indications

PCBs with "IP3NE" included as part of the PCB name printed on the card
cannot be combined with any "IP3WW" version cards. The "IP3NE" are U.S.
versions, while the "IP3WW" are international versions of the PCBs.
Limitation depends on the connecting Router, Multiplexer or Exchange. If the
UX5000 is connected to another UX5000 directly, up to 1,500 ohms loop
resistance (including system).
