4.6.9.

Power Over Ethernet Configuration

On the Advanced Switch Configuration Menu, pressing "P" opens the Power Over
Ethernet Configuration Menu screen as shown in Fig. 4-60. On this screen, you can
configure IEEE 802.3at compatible power supply settings.

Available commands are listed below.
P
Configure PoE for each port.
Press "P" to move to the "PoE Port Configuration Menu" screen. Refer to 4.6.9.a.
G
Configure the PoE settings.
Press "G" to move to the "PoE Global Configuration Menu" screen. Refer to 4.6.9.b.
S
Configure the PoE scheduler settings.
Press "S" to move to the "PoE Schedule Configuration Menu" screen. Refer to 4.6.9.c.
Q
Return to the parent menu.
Note:
This Switching Hub can supply power up to 185 W in total to terminal devices
conforming to IEEE802.3af or IEEE802.3at. For each port, it can supply up to
15.4 W for a IEEE802.3af compatible device and up to 30.0 W for a
IEEE802.3at compatible device, however, the total of power required for ter-
minal devices to be connected should not exceed 185 W. Otherwise, "Over-
load" is displayed in Status in 4.6.9.a, and the power cannot be supplied
normally.
