Possible Cause
The line type is set incorrectly.
You mistakenly attempted to send
to a SIP-FAX number.

Confirm the line type setting for the SIP-
FAX adaptor or the machine.
Specify a FAX over IP number.
Set the communication mode to [G3].
Wait awhile until communication ends.
Confirm the line type setting for the SIP-
FAX adaptor or the machine.
Specify the prefix and fax number of the
destination.
Action to be Taken
Set an IP address.
Enter the IP address of the machine in
URL.
For some network configurations, connec-
tion settings may be required to access the
machine. For more information, consult
with the network administrator.
In the proxy setting of the browser, add the
IP address of this machine in the excep-
tion column not using the proxy server.
Replace the LAN cable.
Some browsers hold the user name and
password once login succeeds. Close the
browser and start it again.
Set proper font sizes for PC and browser.
