Fixed seat post

For this task the following tools are necessary:
• 1 Allen key 8 mm.
Removal
1. Switch off the main power switch on the control
panel.
2. Put the circuit breaker in the "OFF" position. It is ac-
cessed through a hole in the chassis cover. See page
78 Circuit breaker/Battery isolator., Page 54.
3. Raise the seat to its highest position, see Seat height
— Fixed seat post, Page 96.
4. Remove the Seat lift cover and the chassis cover, see
Covers, Page 14.
5. Remove the seat and if equipped, the seat tilt. See
Seat, Page 60

CAUTION!
Because the seat is heavy, it should be lifted by two
persons. Be careful with the cabling.
6. Remove the fixed seat tube. It is attached with four
screws, see fig. 64.
The upper attachment screws are accessible from
the battery boxes. Open the battery covers and pull
each battery out just enough to get access to the
screws through the holes in the chassis.
7. Lift the seat post straight up out of the chassis.
Assembly
Fit the fixed seat tube in the reverse order.
