Electric Seat lift

For this task the following tools are necessary:
• 1 Allen key 8 mm.
Removal
1.
Raise the seat lift to its highest position. To raise the
seat on a chassis with an electric seat lift that does
not work normally because the batteries are dis-
charged or the adjustment device is defective, see
Manual operation of Electric Seat lift, Page 41.
2. Switch off the main power switch on the control
panel.
3. Set the main fuse to the Off position. See fig. 51.
4. Remove the seat lift cover and chassis cover, see
Covers, Page 14.
5. Remove the seat. See Seat, Page 60.

CAUTION!
The seat is heavy. Two people should therefore lift
it. Be careful with the cabling.
6.
Disconnect the seat lifts electrical connection (1). See
fig. 52. The connection is positioned on the cable next
to the General module which is positioned on the seat
lift.
7.
Remove the four screws which secure the seat lift.
