The
poly transom door is located on the starboard aft corner of the
boat.
The sliding bolt style latch secures the door in the closed
position. To open the door, slide the latch to the starboard side (to
the
lef from inside the cockpit). The transom door should always
t
remain closed while underway.

k Hatch - The fiberglass deck hatch over the aft bilge can easily withstand the weight of passengers
a
nd gear; just like the rest of the deck surfaces. The twist latch that is installed on the fiberglass deck
hatch is made of stainless steel. Just lift the handle of the latch from the recessed area of the hatch, twist
it and lift the hatch open. There is a small red dot on one side of the latch. If the red dot is visible when
the hatch is closed, tha
t means that even though the hatch may be closed, the latch is not secure. Lift the

andle of the latch, turn it 180
h
atch. Once the hatch is secure, the red dot will no longer be visible.
