You can mark track numbers:
• Automatically while recording
Track numbers are automatically marked
as on the original source during CD and
MD digital recording.
Use the Level Synchro Recording feature to
automatically mark track numbers while
recording other sources.
• At any point while recording
You can mark track numbers at any time
while recording, regardless of the type of
sound source.

— Level Synchro Recording
The Level Synchro Recording feature is
factory set to on, so track numbers are
automatically marked. If "LEVEL-SYNC"
does not appear in the display during
recording, follow the procedure below and
turn on Level Synchro Recording.
Track numbers are automatically marked
when the input signal continues to be under a
certain level for more than two seconds and
then returns to the previous level.
