Combining recorded tracks

Notes
• If both of the combined tracks have track titles, the
title of the second track is erased.
Example:

COMBINE
• If "Impossible" appears, the tracks cannot be
combined. This happens when you have edited
the same track too many times. This is due to a
technical limitation of the MD system and is not a
mechanical error.
Returning to the
condition before COMBINE
You can return to the original condition
immediately after combining the tracks (see
this page).

Undoing the last edit

— Undo Function
You can cancel the last edit and restore the
contents of the MD to the condition before the
edit.
Note, however, that you cannot undo an edit

if you do any of the following after the edit:
• Do another edit.
• Press any of the REC 1 – 3.

• Press CD SYNC.
• Press REC IT.
• Update the TOC by turning off the system
or ejecting the MD.
• Disconnect the AC power cord.

Press MENU/NO repeatedly, then
turn SELECTOR until "Undo ?"
appears.
"Undo ?" does not appear if you have
done no editing or while the MD is
playing.
Press p on the MD deck and stop play.
