Recording the current
CD track

You can record a track quickly while listening
to a CD.

Place a CD (CDs) on each disc tray.

Insert a recordable MD (MDs).
You can record on any of the MDs in
MD 1 to 3.

Press DISC SKIP on the MD deck (or
MD D.SKIP on the remote) so the
MD 1 to 3 button of the slot
containing the recordable MD lights
green.

Press FUNCTION >/. on the
amplifier repeatedly to switch the
function to CD, then press CD 1 – 3
on the CD player.
CD play starts.

Press REC IT while listening to a
track you want to record.
Play returns to the start of the track and
recording starts. The MD deck stops
automatically at the end of the track, but
CD play continues.
To stop recording
Press p on the MD deck.
When recording is completed
Press § and eject the MD. "TOC Writing" flashes
and the MD Table of Contents (TOC) is updated.
While "TOC Writing" is flashing
Do not move the deck or pull out the power cord to
ensure the complete recording. The deck is currently
updating the Table of Contents (TOC).
