The maintenance tasks and intervals for this product are defined in the Maintenance Schedule. The Mainte-
nance Schedule is a stand-alone publication.
The task numbers in this table provide reference to the maintenance tasks specified in the Maintenance
Schedule.

Maintenance tasks
Check engine oil level.
Visually inspect engine for leaks and general condition.
Check machine room for smell of gas.
Check for abnormal running noises and vibrations.
Check clearance, adjust if necessary.
Replace air filter.
Replace engine oil filter when changing engine oil, or when
the time limit (years) is reached, at the latest.
Replace filter or filter element.
Check gas lines for leaks, repair if required.
Check ignition timing, adjust as necessary.
Check emission values, adjust if necessary.

Replace coolant vent line in engine coolant circuit (only 8V/
12V /16V).

Replace sensor.
Replace spark plugs and seal in spark plug connector.
Replace spark plug connector.
Measure valve protrusion.
Replace coarse filter (coalescence filter).
