Tips for troubleshooting 143
Error code Possible cause and remedy
X004 Water tank is empty.
Top up water tank (see page 118).
Sponge and brush are dried out.
Remove sponge and let it soak thoroughly (see Chapter 14.7, page 121).
Moisten the brush. Stroke with your fingers over the brush several
times.
Sponge is worn.
Replace sponge (see Chapter 14.7, page 121).
Brush is worn.
Replace brush (see Chapter 14.8, page 125).
Moistening felt on the brush is jammed and therefore cannot take up
any water.
Check the moistening felt.
