Postage correction

You can correct faulty meter imprints on a letter already metered. The correction
imprint must always be printed on the non-address-side of the mail piece.
If you have metered with a postage value which is too low, print a correction with the
missing amount on the non-address-side of the mail piece. You cannot print logos
when using this function.
SET UP
MODE SETTING
CORRECTION
Print postage correction
• Go to the SET UP menu using the
key.
• Select MODE SETTING
CORRECTION.
The ultimail sets the correction imprint
and goes back to home menu. The
CORRECTION mode is set.
• Enter the amount to be imprinted on the
mail piece in addition to the postage
value.
• Confirm with the key for the postage
value.
• Position the mail piece the non-
address-side face up.
or
• Print an FP label and apply it to the
non-address-side of the mailpiece.
The ultimail prints the correction imprint.
End "correction" mode
• Keep the key pressed for approx.
3 seconds.
The ultimail goes back to METERING
mode.
