during metering / during imprint setting
Error message "The set
imprint is too long for label
printing. Please deactivate
part of the imprint."
Gaps in the print.
In the meter imprint the
logo is missing.
Jam.
Label metering:
– misfeeding
– jam.
Logo of the USER card is
not set automatically when
inserting the card.
Possible cause and remedy
Deactivate logo (Setting WITHOUT LOGO).
Clean the print system (see Chapter 14.4, page 117).
A special meter imprint is set (e. g. postage
correction, statement of mailing). Therefore no logo
can be printed.
Read "Removing letter jams" on page 136.
Before loading the label dispenser:
loosen labels.
You have used unsuited labels.
Use original FP labels only.
Put in a maximum of 40 labels
(as pre-packaged).
The standard setting for the account's logo as saved
in the account administration has priority over the
USER card's logo.
Set the logo of the card as default logo for the
respective account.
