(1) The Parallel Controller (U26) receives the print data and command signals transmitted through the Parallel Interface (J10)
from a computer.
(2) The print data and command signals are transmitted to the PowerPC 603e (U24) by Double Finger (U25).
(3) The PowerPC 603e processes and analyzes the print data relying on the command signals and the print settings saved
in EEPROM (U7). When printing with Internal Font, the font data are retrieved from Program ROM SIMM.
The analyzed print data are transmitted and saved in SDRAM (U51,52) by Double Finger.
(4) The saved data are transmitted to the RECTOR (U13) by Double Finger.
(5) The RECTOR (U13) compresses the print data. The compressed data are transmitted to PLD (U3) by Double Finger.
(6) PLD transmits the print data via PCI I/F Controller (U2) to the System Board of the machine in DMA through the Engine
Interface (J1,5). The System Board comes into operation to activate the Printer Engine and the transmitted print data are
printed.
