Double-sheet feeding or skewed feeding occurs more often when the paper is dry or
old.
Also, in winter, paper sheets are more difficult to separate due to static electricity.
When setting paper, fan one side to make sure the sheets are not sticking together
before setting them to the ASF. Do not set more paper than necessary.
Empty feeding due to the Rubber Rollers being dirty or old is sometimes improved by
wiping their surface lightly with a cloth moistened with alcohol.
