heat-sensitivemediaorthermaltransferprintingusingaspecial
ink-coatedribbon.Mosttransferribbonsdonotsmearatroom
temperature.
Thermaltransferprintingmakesitpossibletouseawiderangeof
receivingfacematerialsandgivesadurableprintoutless
vulnerabletofat,chemicals,heat,orsunlightthandirectthermal
printing.Makesuretoselectatypeofribbonthatmatchesthe
typeofreceivingfacematerialandsetuptheprinter
appropriately.
TheEasyCoderPF4iprintercanusetransferribbonrollswound
withtheink-coatedsidefacingeitheroutwardorinward.
