6.1.18 Paper Tray ASSY #2

(1) Place the paper tray ASSY #2 upside down.
(2) Out of the four pawls of LT bank ASSY, first release the two at both ends. Then, while
pulling up the right (or left) lock arm slightly with the edge of a scale or the like, release the
right inside (or left inside) pawl of the LT bank ASSY from the paper tray #2. Then do the
same for the other lock arm and pawl.
(3) If the base pad needs to be replaced, peel it off the bottom of the paper tray #2.
Note: Once removed, the base pad will become unusable and a new pad will have to be put
back in.

Assembling Notes
• When attaching a new base pad to the paper tray #2, align the edge of the base pad with the
front edge of the depressed section on the paper tray #2 as shown above.
• When mounting the LT bank ASSY, first fit the four rear latches on their support openings in
the paper tray #2 and fit the four front pawls on the openings in the bottom of paper tray #2.
Then press the top of the LT bank ASSY so that the four rear latches snap into place.
