The machine beeps for approx. one second and displays "
LCD, indicating that it is placed in the initial stage of the maintenance mode, a mode in
which the machine is ready to accept entry from the keys.
(2) Press the 0 and 1 keys in this order in the initial stage of the maintenance mode.
TIP: For models without numerical keypad on the control panel
If the touch panel is inoperable, use the Scan and Copy keys to display 01 on the LCD and
press the Photo Capture key.
The "SELECT 01?" appears on the LCD.
(3) Press the Black Start (Mono Start) key.
Parameter initialization starts and the "PARAMETER INIT" appears on the LCD.
(4) Upon completion of initialization, the machine returns to the initial stage of the
maintenance mode.
