• Shift the transmission into the neutral.
• Shift up using the shift pedal.
• Shift down using the shift pedal.
• Operate the brake lever or brake pedal.

checks and maintenance

_31.
Refer to "FUEL INJECTION

Measure the resistance of
the gear position sensor.

Specified resistance: 4.0–6.0

Out of specification → Re-
place the gear position sen-
sor and carry out the
learning for each gear posi-
tion. Execute the diagnostic
