Note: If a call is received when the Voice Module storage is full, it will not be possible to store any further
messages. In this case, the following standard greeting will be given to the caller: "There is no one
available to answer your call at this time. If you wish to contact a particular extension, please dial the
number."

To Turn the System Voice Mailbox On and Off

At the programming extension press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "System Voice Mail Box" is
displayed.
Select "System Voice Box" to turn the System voice mailbox on. Select "System Voice Box" again to
turn the System voice mailbox off.
Note: "System Voice Box" will appear as one of the first options on the programming extension to
indicate the System voice mailbox has been turned on.

To Program Lines to be Answered by the System Voice Mailbox

From the programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "System Programming" is displayed.
Select "System Programming".
Enter the System Programming Password and select "Lines".
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "System Voice Box" is displayed.
Select "System Voice Box".
Select the lines to be answered by the System Voice mailbox. The lines that will be answered are
indicated by a "♦".
Press the speakerphone key to finish programming.

Leaving Messages in Voice Mailboxes

When callers are answered by a voice mailbox they are returned the greeting recorded by the user
followed by the prompt " When finished you may hang up to deliver the message or press pound for more
options."
When the message is recorded and # pressed the message can be marked as priority by dialing
Callers can skip the greeting and start recording their message immediately by pressing # when
listening to the greeting.
Callers can dial through the greeting to another extension by dialing the extension number when
listening to the greeting.
When a message is recorded callers can dial # followed by another extension number. The message is
left in the first mailbox and they call the other extension number.

To Change the Greeting on the System Voice Mailbox

Press the MESSAGE key.
Select "Voice Messaging".
Enter 0 as the extension number (which is your System voice mailbox number).
Enter your voice mail password (1111 by default) followed by #.
You are presented with the Voice Messaging control menu. The options displayed are "Play", "Erase
All Messages", "Greeting", "Change Password", "Monitor" and "Exit".
Select "Greeting".
Select "Record Greeting".
Speak to record a personalized greeting when prompted.
Press "Confirm".
Press the speakerphone key to finish programming.
