CHAPTER 2 BASIC OPERATIONS
1.1.4 Cutting (trim mode only)
The booklet in the pressing unit is cut by lowering the upper blade as soon as the pressing
plate locks it in place. At the end of cutting operation, the upper blade immediately moves
up and returns to standby state.
The waste paper from cutting operation is blown down by the work of the waste paper re-
moval fan motor (M108) mounted to the entrance to the feeding assembly of the cutter unit,
and is collected in the waste paper box. mounted to the bottom of the cutter unit.
