CHAPTER 2 BASIC OPERATIONS

2.2.5 Controlling the Stopper/Press

Trimmer DC controller PCB
The stopper is moved to the left and right by the timing belt, to which it is secured, using
drive from the stopper motor (M103). The stopper is released by the drive of the stopper re-
lease motor (M104) obtained through gears. The booklet is pressed by the pressing plate us-
ing the drive of the pressing motor (M105) obtained through gears and links.
M103, M104, and M105 are driven by the trimmer driver PCB, and are under the control
of the trimmer DC controller PCB. The signals associated with these movements are as fol-
lows: inlet sensor (PS101), feeding sensor (PS102), stopper HP sensor (PS103), stopper re-
lease HP sensor (PS104), press HP sensor (PS105), and delivery sensor (PS108).
