When working with the IMBA-8650, make sure that it is disconnected from
all power supplies and that no electricity is being fed into the system.
Before and during the installation of the IMBA-8650 DO NOT do the following:
DO NOT remove any of the stickers on the PCB board. These stickers are
required for warranty validation.
DO NOT use the product before verifying all the cables and power connectors
are properly connected.
DO NOT allow screws to come in contact with the PCB circuit, connector pins,
or its components.

5.2.2 Installation Checklist

The following checklist is provided to ensure the IMBA-8650 is properly installed.
All the items in the packing list are present (see Chapter 3)
A CPU is installed
A CPU cooling kit is properly installed
Compatible memory modules are properly inserted into the memory slots
The IMBA-8650 is installed into a chassis with adequate ventilation
The correct power supply is being used
The following devices (if applicable) are properly connected

Floppy disk drive

System front panel connector
o
Audio kit
o
Power supply
o
USB cable
o
Serial port cable
o
Parallel port cable
o
Keyboard/mouse cable
o
COM port cables
