Enter up to two Keywords. When a number plate is detected and
recognised, the ANPR database will be searched for a match. If a
match is found, it will look at the associated keyword. If the keyword
matches that entered here, the programmed alarm and/or on-screen
alert can be raised (see below). A response can also be configured
if no keyword relating to the read number plate is matched within the
database.
The ANPR software will search the database for each number plate as
it is detected and read. If a match is found, the software compares the
associated keyword to any entered in the 'Keyword' option in this menu.
Following a Keyword being matched, a 'Virtual Alarm' can be raised.
Refer to your unit's Installation & Operation manual for guidance on
configuring a response to the raising of a Virtual Alarm.
Select this option to add a log of the event to the database. In most
operating circumstances this feature should remain selected.
If a Keyword is matched to a read number plate, an on-screen alert can
be displayed to assist an operator viewing live images.
The on-screen alert will include the number plate details plus the
associated Keyword. The text can be displayed in a variety of colours to
match the severity of the alert i.e. the Keyword 'Resident' could result
in the alert displayed in Green, the Keyword 'Stolen' could result in the
on-screen alert messages displayed in Red.
