Adjusting stitch balance of buttonhole

Occasionally (especially on speciality fabrics) the
stitch length shows differences in forward and reverse
stitches of the buttonhole.
Stitch balance can be equalized by turning the
Buttonhole Stitch Adjuster. (fig A)
1. If the stitches of the right side of the buttonhole
(forward stitches) are too close together, turn the
adjuster clockwise using a screw driver or a coin.

2. If the stitches of the left side of the buttonhole
(reverse stitches) are too close together, turn the
adjuster counterclockwise. (fig C)

Ajustando el balance de puntadas del ojal

Ocasionalmente (en telas especiales) el largo de
puntada muestra diferencias entre costura normal y
reversa en el ojal.
El balance de puntada puede ser equilibrado girando
el Ajustador de Puntada del Ojal (fig. A).
1. Si las puntadas del lado derecho del ojal (puntada
normal, hacia delante) están muy juntas una con
otra, gire el ajustador en el sentido de las
manecillas del reloj usando un atornillador o una
moneda. (fig. B)
2. Si las puntadas del lado izquierdo del ojal (puntada
reversa) están muy juntas una con otra, gire el
ajustador en el sentido contrario de las manecillas
del reloj usando un atornillador o una moneda.
