MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

HELPFUL HINTS

If you keep your StairMaster
and in good condition, it will operate more efficiently and last longer. It is
strongly recommended that you adhere to the maintenance service guidelines
presented in this Owner's Manual. Read all maintenance instructions thoroughly
before beginning work. In some instances, the use of an assistant is recom-
mended to perform the necessary task efficiently.
All references to the right or the left side and to the front or the back of
the Stratus systems cycle ergometer are made as if you were sitting on the
machine ready to exercise. For example, the drive chain is on the right side of the
bike. Major component names and locations are shown in Figures 14 through 17.
