4.2 Troubleshooting

Problem
When Network
Configuration can
not succeed with
the Setup CD-ROM.
When the Top Page
does not appear.
The Ethernet
network does not
work and the
Ethernet indicator is
off.
When forgetting the
IP address of the
Network Camera.

Please re-connect the AC adapter.
2.
Do not connect the Network Camera over the router. The
setup program should be done in the LAN.
• Enter the correct IP address set up to the Network Camera.
• IP address of the PC and the Network Camera must be in
the same class of the private IP address in the LAN. Please
refer to Page 33.
• Confirm if the Ethernet, the hub and the LAN card
indicators are on. If any indicator is off, check the network
connections.
• The network congestion prevents the Top Page from
appearing quickly. Please wait for a while.
• The proxy server prevents you from connecting directly to
the Network Camera, please set up not to use the proxy
server. For details please refer to Section
1.5.2 Configuring the Proxy Server.
• If the Top Page does not appear in the above procedure,
please press the CLEAR SETTING button and set up with
the Setup CD-ROM again.
The Ethernet cables does not fit for the connection.
Please refer to 1.4 Network Camera connection.

Please check an IP address using the Setup CD-ROM. The
Network Camera List window on Page 23 can tell you the IP
address of the Network Camera.
