• Please refer to Section 4.2 Troubleshooting when the Single Camera
screen does not appear.
• The Screen Saver can prevent the PC monitor from burning in displaying
the same image.
• Selecting a resolution of 640 x 480 will result in a slight loss of speed when
viewing Motion JPEG. Selecting 320 x 240 offers the best compromise
between speed and resolution.
ActiveX program
If you are using Internet Explorer the first time the PC connects to the Network
Camera, a pop up ActiveX window will appear. The window requests your
permission to install a OCX file. It is a component of the ActiveX used to
display motion video. Please allow the file to be installed. It is required and will
not cause any problems with other applications on the PC. If the ActiveX
window appears, click [Yes].
If you can not download the program or you can not see the image
Tools menu –> Internet Options –> Security tab –> Custom level
(1) Check "Prompt" in "Download signed ActiveX Controls".
(2) Check "Enable" in "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins".
If you can not download on the Internet
ActiveX can be also installed by double-clicking the "ocx\Reghcm10.exe"
in the Setup CD-ROM and a ActiveX window appears.
