ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
HEADLIGHT ADJuSTMENT
When checking the proper aiming of the headlight beam: inflate tyres at the
right pressure, have a person sit astride the motorcycle and set the motor-
cycle perpendicular to its longitudinal axis
at 10 m from a wall or screen. Then trace a horizontal line at the height of
headlight centre and a vertical one, in line with vehicle longitudinal axis.
If possible, execute this operation in a shaded place.
When the low beam is on, the upper edge between dark and lit zone should
be at 9/10th of headlight centre from ground.
Beam height can be adjusted as follows:
- pull out the front fairing (1) to remove it;
- loosen the two screws (2);
- work adjuster screw (3);
tighten to lower the beam,
loosen to raise the beam.
Once set, reverse the above procedure to reassemble.
