CHARGING SYSTEM
The alternated current produced by the generator is converted into direct
current by the voltage regulator/rectifier. The voltage regulator/rectifier serves
a dual purpose: it provides overvoltage protection for the battery and converts
alternated current into direct current. All components listed above help keep
voltage constant and protect the battery against overloading.
